We always seem to be a smidge early on developments. We were online before much of our competition. We had a digital-first strategy before the term was even coined. Just today, before writing this editorial, we dug up a 2006 issue of Lucire for inspiration. In there: a headline on Kate Middleton, where we called her ‘arguably the most stylish woman in the world.’ If there’s one thing Lucire has enjoyed doing over the years, it’s observing trends, and being a record of them—and, where possible, being ahead of them.
